How to work with quality parameters to attract international funding and investments

Uppsala BIO and CONNECT Uppsala welcome you to a BIO-PUB on April 21 hosted by Pharma Consulting Group (PCG). During this evening of networking you will get new insights into the concepts of quality and funding. In addition, you will have the opportunity to network with new and old connections.

Speakers at the BIO-PUB are Gunnar Danielsson, PCG and collaborating partner James Cornwall, who will discuss that high, and correct quality throughout the clinical trial process is a key factor when attracting investors and building value for your company. During the event you will learn which quality routines that are the most important and how this is linked to attracting possible investors around the world. This BIO-PUB will be relevant to small start-up companies as well as to larger established companies

Gunnar Danielsson is the former inspector of the Medical Products Agency and he will be speaking about the importance of quality and design that lead to best information possible to make key decisions and why quality is so important in creating a company´s value.

James Cornwalls' areas of experience and interest include working with biopharma to find alternative and innovative solutions to advance the development of potential new medicines. Through the creation of partnership structures with external capital, and aligned expert service providers of various types it may be possible to share risk and value to advance assets without resorting to typical pharma-pharma partnerships.

James is currently part of a team which is building an innovative project financing fund which it is anticipated will act as a catalyst to risk sharing and partnering in this space - ultimately advancing more medicines to patients. His tenure over many years at a leading global CRO included significant experience in deal making and management with internal and external capital (VC, PE) and all segments of biopharma. He will explain different investment vehicles and possibilities.

The seminars will be held in English. After the two speakers there will be time for questions from the audience, and thereafter there will be some food and drinks served and time for networking and further discussions.
